X-Plus, Hanna- Barbera Collection- Zandor

I saw this at Midtown Comics when I was working there and I just HAD to have it. It's a 3.75" scale figure of Zandor from the Herculoids which I liked as a kid. But I thought was even more interesting is that it's a Japanese import toy! Aside from some business info on the back of the packaging there wasn't much else. Either way pretty cool despite only having 5 points of articulation and a stuck on shield. I did manage to find out that there is a vinyl Tundro go along with Zandor though. I hope they make the rest of the team/ family!

So I now have 2 Triceratons which is pretty cool because even though the toy file card describes him a 1 character, they are in fact a race. You can see it in the original Mirage comics and in the 2003 series. Looks like I just might army build them!

Yet another find from storage, my Antarctic Press Toys Usagi Yojimbo! Totally forgot had him! I have no idea what happened to his other sword and companion Spot. Especially since I got him back in 1998, but at least I have him. This pic isn't too far off from the comics. Leo and Usagi have crossed paths in the comic in the past.

Playmates, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- Mondo Gecko

I've always wanted Mondo Gecko, so when I saw him in a lot with Rat King it was kind of a no brainer. Luckily he came complete!

Rat King here is the main reason I went after this lot. Everyone else was just gravy! Funny but if it wasn't for the current show I wouldn't have bother to hunt this one down. While I like what they did with Rat King on the show I don't like his design. So I went after this one.

Yet another find from storage. As you can tell I've had this once FOREVER. It's seen better days but I love it!

Mattel. Masters of the Universe- Whiplash

Yet another of my childhood toys. I found him while going through some boxes in my storage room. Finding and my few remaining Masters figure has bitten me with Masters fever. I think the only cure is to get a He-Man. :P

The first of the lot that I won on eBay. Ace here wasn't my reason for getting the lot but he's still pretty cool. Now I just need his accessories!

I think the most disturbing part of this is that it's a custom using a Toy Biz figure, Daredevil I believe.

Bandai, Dinozaurs- Drago Dactylus

Back in the late 90's, Bandai released this line called Dinozaurs that in my opinion was their response to Beast Wars. So this kinda of makes the the GoBots of the 90's. FYI Bandai actually produced the GoBots, Tonka marketed and released over here in the US. Anyway, what you get is are prehistoric creatures that transform in robots and at very least, a fairly decent toy line.

Bandai, Megaman X- Ride Armor

So, initially I had thought that this was from Kabaya, who is famous for making candy toys, but after looking around the 'net I figured out that it's from Bandai. Though it would have been easier to check the sticker sheet that it came with.:P It's pretty cool for a toy that's about 2" high.

Also since I missed posting on Monday and Tuesday, I'll be posting this weekend, which I normally don't do.

It came from eBay! COPS- Longarm

So I just got this in the mail yesterday off of eBay for $1 + shipping. Which was more that the item but still reasonable. $4 all together. And just in time for a COPS marathon! Unfortunately he didn't come with any accessories but it's pretty cool on it's own. He also has what seems to be stains from a black marker. His hair should be brighter too. I tried to clean it up as best as I could without having to resort to cleaning agent that would strip the paint off. Either way, not bad for $4 and I'm sure I'll find the rest of his parts and maybe a replacement head at a toy show I'll be working in July.

Gamestar Collectibles, Red Faction Armageddon- Ravager

It's funny but I've managed to acquire quite of bit of video game figures and most of the are from Gamestar Collectibles.

NECA- Gears of War, Marcus Fenix

When NECA announced that they were doing Gears of Wars in 3.75", I could not believe it. After all NECA is known for doing 6" figures and up. Aside from missing a few key articulation issues (no arm swivel and not much bending at the knee), the whole line is pretty good.
