Yet another, what is likely a return with some bootleg figure in the packaging. At least this time it looks like the figure it's supposed to be.

Perfect Cell here is another gashapon figure from Dragonball Z. I also found him here in Chinatown about 15 years ago. He used to be pink, until I painted him. Apparently I never finished painting him. Gonna have to fix that...

Transformers: Generations Thunderwing, one of few original Transformers from it's later years to get a modern update. Pretty snazzy even though he doesn't have an inner robot like his original Pretender toy!

Mini Monday #5

Today's Mini fig is a blind box pencil cap from Japan. The characters are all monsters from the Dragon Quest Monster Cap series as in the role-playing game series. They're made by Square Enix.

Unfortunately I only managed to get one of these, Muscle Wutan, but it's pretty cool to have the little ape dude with a cap hanging out on a pencil!

Yet another unscrupulous collector strikes! This time replacing a Rhino figure for a bootleg Masters of the Universe looking Spider-Man. It's things like this and scalpers that REALLY piss me off about toy collecting.

Foreign Friday #2

This weeks Foreign Friday figure is a gashapon figure from Dragonball Z. I found Super Saiyan Trunks here in Chinatown about 15 years ago and he used to be gold, until I painted him.You can see some of the gold on his right leg were some of the paint has chipped away.
